Our Programs
Pantry

So many of the clients of The Center struggle to make ends meet - to put some food on the table - to have some basic things that we can so easily take for granted. Each client is entitled to a monthly emergency "food bag" with some of the basics they are not able to get with food stamps.

Our pantry shelves are kept full due to the generosity of many. Schools and places of worship hold food drives, neighborhoods and clubs collect products for us.

Visiting Cooks

On Sundays, the resident's meals are cooked by Volunteer visiting chefs.  At this time we are reaching out to individuals, families, youth groups, school clubs, churches, and temples to help us out with our program called "Sunday Suppers".

We average about 10 residents that come down to the dining room from 4:00-5:00pm for Sunday Supper.

Our chef, Tom Mitrou, can help with ordering the meal you would like to prepare. Please contact Tom Mitrou at 732-774-3416 x119.

Meals to Go

Our Meals-to-Go Program provides home cooked frozen meals to folks who are living in motels and rooming houses and have no kitchen access.

We are asking individuals and groups to help us to fill our freezer shelves all year long. The Center will provide you with microwavable containers to fill with good food and a lot of love!

For more information, or if you are interested in helping us, please contact Tom Mitrou at 732-774-3416 X119.
